Breeding and pedigree registration
The NVBK is recognized by the Flemish government as a studbook organization for all breeds.
Our association works together with the laboratory "Dr. van Haeringen Polygen b.v. (VHP) in Malle, Belgium".
The NVBK and the "Flemish Breeding Commission" work together with the Flemish government on the health of
our dogs...
You do not have to be a member of our federation to breed and/or request pedigrees from our organization.
The NVBK uses the FCI standard but also recognizes other breeds according to the standard of the country of origin.
Dogs that do not meet the conditions to obtain a pedigree can always obtain a "registration certificate". Such evidence includes information and data about the dog and is recorded in a separate register.
